IATI Air Help
This is a service offered as a complement to flight cancellation exclusively for IATI clients. The aim of this service is to claim the compensation that you may be entitled to in the event of flight cancellation, delay or missed connections. IATI Airhelp can only be taken out as a complement to our travel assistance policies. You will find it available in the purchase process, once the main insurance has been taken out, from €5.95. Air passenger rights involve specific laws, such as Regulation (EC) No. 261/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council, published in 2004, or the Montreal Convention, which prevail internationally and which determine that, in many cases, airlines are legally and financially responsible for flight disruptions. These laws provide for compensation of up to €600 in case of flight cancellations, delays or missed connections in certain circumstances.

Non-covered extraordinary circumstances
The following circumstances are generally not considered to be within the scope of an airline's liability and, therefore, would not be covered by current law and would not give rise to any right to compensation: strikes initiated by airport or air traffic control employees (strikes by the airline's own staff are covered); political instability; inclement weather and security risks.

- You have checked in for your flight on time.
- The airline is responsible for the delay (e.g. operational circumstances and technical difficulties).
- The flight took off in the EU (from any airline) or landed in the EU (provided the airline is based in the EU).

Cancelled flight

- The airline notifies you of the cancellation less than 14 days before take-off.
- The cancellation is not due to extraordinary circumstances
- If the airline offers an alternative flight and the minimum notice period is not met:

You are entitled to compensation if:
- Flight delayed more than three hours on arrival at destination
- Cancelled flight
- Denied boarding
- You are only entitled if all flights are booked together under one reference number.
Baggage problems
